At Local Expedition Agency E.I.R.L. (RUC 20612345678) we reject all forms of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (known in Peru as ESNNA). As a travel agency in Cusco, we follow the Code of Conduct against ESNNA promoted by Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), in accordance with Law No. 29408, Peru’s General Tourism Law.
Our commitments
- Reject and never tolerate any form of sexual exploitation of minors in our services or facilities, or in those of our providers.
- Inform our travelers about this policy and the penalties set by Peruvian law, displaying the official posters at our office and on this website.
- Train our team (office staff, guides, drivers and cooks) to prevent, identify and report situations of risk.
- Work with responsible providers: hotels, transport companies and operators that also reject ESNNA.
- Never promote destinations or services with messages or images that suggest or facilitate the sexual exploitation of minors.
- Report any case we become aware of to the relevant authorities.
ESNNA is a crime
In Peru, the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a serious crime punishable by imprisonment. No traveler, employee or provider can claim ignorance of the law.
