Sacred Valley VIP Tour: Chinchero, Moray, Maras, Ollantaytambo & Pisac
The most complete one-day tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas: Chinchero textiles, Moray terraces, the Maras salt pans, the Ollantaytambo fortress and Pisac.
Experience Overview
The Sacred Valley VIP tour brings together the five must-see sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas in a single day. Unlike the standard tour, the VIP version includes Moray and the Maras Salt Mines (Salineras de Maras), plus Chinchero, Ollantaytambo and Pisac, with a buffet lunch in Urubamba. It is the best choice if you want to make the most of one day in the valley.
The Sacred Valley is about 30 to 60 minutes from Cusco and sits at a lower altitude (approx. 2,800 m above sea level), which also makes it ideal for acclimatizing during your first days.
Tour highlights
- Chinchero: a weaving village where you will see how alpaca wool is washed, dyed with natural pigments and spun, plus its colonial church built on Inca foundations.
- Moray: concentric circular terraces the Incas used as an agricultural research center, with temperature differences between levels.
- Maras Salt Mines: more than 3,000 salt pans worked by local families since pre-Inca times.
- Ollantaytambo: Inca fortress and temple with monumental terraces and granite monoliths.
- Pisac: archaeological complex and craft market, perfect for shopping for textiles and silverwork.
